Martha G. Mummau, 91, of Palmyra died Thursday, October 5, 2006 at her home.
Born September 24, 1915 in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late William W. and Mary L. (Goss) Greiner.
She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church, Palmyra. She was a devoted and loving homemaker to her family and also enjoyed gardening.
She was the wife of the late Hershey H. Mummau.
Surviving are her daughters, Marion G. Spangler of Myerstown, Mary J. Walborn of Palmyra, Irene M. Hurst of Camillus, New York, Martha Noel of Joppa, Maryland and Donna D. Smith of Elizabethtown; sister, Mary Kathryn Greiner of Lemoyne; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rhoda G. Risser; brothers, Stanley G. Greiner and David G. Greiner; and by a great-grandson, Derek Walborn.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at First United Methodist Church; 520 East Birch Street, Palmyra. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Colebrook. Viewing will be held from 7:00 _ 9:00 PM Monday at Buse Funeral Home; 145 North Grant Street, Palmyra and from 9:30 _ 10:00 AM Tuesday at the church.
