Marion G. Spangler MYERSTOWN
Marion G. Spangler, 70, of 213 W. Main Ave., Myerstown, died Sunday, February 18, 2007, at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Sarasaota, Florida, while vacationing in Florida. She was the wife of Jerome "Jerry" C. Spangler, to whom she was married 52 years on July 17. Born in Marion Township, Pa., on March 6, 1936, daughter of the late Hershey H. and Martha G. (Greiner) Mummau, she was a 1954 graduate of Myerstown High School. A member of Myerstown United Church of Christ, she enjoyed sewing, gardening and crafts. In addition to her husband she is survived by, daughter, Donna E., wife of Bruce Kramer of Schaefferstown; sons, Barry L., husband of Jane Spangler of Myerstown, Curtis R., husband of Sally Spangler of Myerstown, Ross R., husband of Jennifer Spangler of Fleetwood, Brent A., husband of Toni Spangle of Myerstown; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Mary Jane, wife of Sam Walborn of Palmyra, Irene, wife of Paul Hurst of Syracuse, New York, Martha Noel of Joppatown, Maryland, Donna Darlene, wife of Robert Smith of Elizabethtown; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 p.m. from Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, Viewing Saturday from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Interment at Old Union Cemetery, Myerstown. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Myerstown UCC, 310 W. Main Ave., Myerstown, PA 7067.
