Mrs. Julia A. Roger Mumma, 44, of 18 Martin Ave., Ephrata, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at the Hershey Medical Center after an illness of one week.
She was the wife of LeRoy E. Mumma. She was the daughter of Leo Boyer, Lancaster and the late Julia Wartika Boyer. She lived most of her life in Ephrata and had formerly resided in New Holland. She was last employed as a waitress at the Cloister Restaurant, Ephrata. She was formerly employed at Nichols Discount Center, Ephrata, and the S.L.C. Corp., Ephrata.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by a daughter, Joyce R. Mumma, Ephrata; a son, Russell R. Mumma, Akron; one granddaughter; and her foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel N. Hoover, New Holland R1.
Also surviving are these brothers and sisters: Leo Boyer, Pemberton, N.J.; Martha G., wife of Marlin R. Haldeman, Palmyra R2; Mrs. Elsie Troop, Lancaster; Olga, wife of Edward Peckham, Medford, N.H.; a half-sister, Sharon, Rothsville; two foster brothers, Earl W. Hoover, Blue Ball, and Elmer W. Hoover, Hinkletown.
