Hagerstown, Maryland, Morning Herald, December 6, 1943:
Mrs. Frances Amelia (Masters) Mumma, last of her family, died at her Williamsport home at 3:45 yesterday afternoon, aged 86.
Widow of Albert Stanley Mumma, she was the daughter of Jacob B. and Sarah A. Masters, and a member of the Methodist Church in Williamsport for more than 70 years.
Surviving are children, Mrs. Sarah Cohen, South Gate, Calif.; Mrs. C. R. Burns, Tucson, Ariz.; Jacob B., Conococheague; Daniel G., Hagerstown; Albert Louis, Baltimore, and Ollie, at home. Thirty-four grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services Thursday at the Methodist Church in Williamsport, at 2 p.m., the Rev. Hoover officiating, and interment in Riverview cemetery. The body may be viewed at the church after 1 p.m. on Thursday.
