He was born in Williamsport, the son of Mrs. Frances Amelia (Masters) Mumma and the late Albert Stanley Mumma. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence (Ensminger) Mumma; mother, Mrs. Frances Mumma, Williamsport; daughters, Mrs. F. N. Batt, Hagerstown; Mrs. William Braun, Miami, Fla.; Mrs. George Smith, Tilghmanton; Mrs. Philip Delosier, Hagerstown; Mrs. M. M. Pike, Hagerstown; Mrs. Blair Nichols, Hagerstown; Misses Myrtle, Ivy and Ardath Mumma, at home; sons, William Stanley, Jr., Lappans and James, Matthew and Hershey E. Mumma, at home; sisters, Mrs. L. H. Cohen, Southgate, Calif.; Mrs. C. R. Burns, Chicago, Ill., and brothers, Daniel G., Hagerstown; J. B. and Oliver R., Williamsport, and Albert L. Mumma, near Baltimore. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church at Lappans, the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, Shenandoah, Va., and the Norfolk and Western Veterans' Association. Funeral services will be held this (Monday) afternoon at 3:00 o'clock at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Lappans, with the Rev. Walter B. McKinley assisted by the Rev. G. I. Rider officiating. The body may be viewed from 9 o'clock this morning until the hour of funeral.
