Alfred Mumma was a cigar maker at Rothville, now Ephrata. Belonged to the United Brethren Church.
He is listed as Albert Mumma in the all of the various census and he is living with his daughter and son-in-law in Warwick Twp
In the 1850 census, however, he is listed as Zacharah, age 9/12. It appears that the parents changed the name of the children when they were young. His sister was called Sebina in the 1850 census.

Alfred [sic] Mumma
Alfred Mumma, 80, died Saturday afternoon at the home of his son, E. S. Mumma, in Rothsville. He was a member of the Evangelixal Congregational Church, Rothsville.
He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Katie S. Sonon...Landisville; Mrs. Wesley Hellinger,; Ementize S., Rothsville; Emanuel, Lancaster; and Mrs. E. M. Frankfort, Columbia. Seven grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held from the home of his son yesterday at [?] o'clock. Burial was in the Rothsville Lutheran cemetery.
