NEWPORT NEWS - Albert Henry Sonon, 92, a Peninsula resident for 21 years who retired in 1972 as an electrical engineer after 20 years with Gilbert Associates, Reading, Pa., died Monday, Feb. 14.
Mr. Sonon was a member of Denbigh Presbyterian Church and a native of Lancaster County, Pa.
Survived by his wife, Eleanor M. Sonon; two sons, Peter M. Sonon and David A. Sonon of Newport News; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Visitation from 7 to 8 tonight at W.J. Smith & Son Funeral Home. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday at Denbigh Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Jerry F. Helms. Graveside service 2 p.m. Thursday in Peninsula Memorial Park.
