According to a Kalamazoo Gazzette obituary, Merl Rayman passed away Saturday. Mr. Rayman was born August 28, 1899, in Coldwater, Ohio. He was employed by Hammond Machinery Builders for 30 years, retiring in 1965. Mr. Rayman is survived by his wife, Dawn; one daughter, Linda , at home; 3 sons, Jimmy and Lloyd of Kalamazoo and Gerald of Plainwell; a niece, Mrs. Russel l (Jeanette) Shaff of Kalamazoo; a nephew, Donald Stephenson of Hopkins; 10 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Marion (Fern) Crawford of Baldwin; 3 brothers, Merritt and Burton of Kalamazoo , Lloyd of Galesburg, also several other nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Winkel Funer al Home, Otsego, where services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.. Reverend Emerson Minor off ficiating. Interment in Liberty Street Cemetery, Kalamazoo.

Merl Rayman was employed at Hammond Machinery Builders for 30 years. He worked there dur ing the time when Earl Frederick Beegle was employed. They were related to each other. Earl was his Uncle.
