According to this Kalamazoo Gazzette obituary: Jimmy Merl Rayman passed away Thursday June 11 , 1992. Mr. Rayman was born April 4, 1928 in Maybee, Michigan, the son of Merl and Dawn Rayma n and was a resident here most of his life. He had owned and operated Rayman Auto Body and wa s president of Rayman Auto Sales, Inc. He was a member of Northwest United Methodist Church . On September 29, 1948 he was married to Virginia Grace Bourner, who survives. Also survivin g are one daughter, Vicki Alexander of Kalamazoo; two grandchildren, James P. Alexander and L ori Ann Alexander; two brothers and one sister, Gerald Rayman of Allegan, Lloyd A. Rayman an d Linda D. Rayman, both of Kalamazoo; two cousins who were raised as his brother and sister , Donald Stephenson of Paw Paw and Jeanette Shaff of Kalamazoo; several nieces, nephews, aunt s, uncles and cousins. Services will be held Saturday at 1:00 o'clock at the Langeland Funera l Home with the Reverend Dr. Alden Burns officiating. Interment at Liberty Street Cemetery, A lamo Township. His Social Security Number is 365-28-4228. It was issued in Michigan before 19 51.
