After an illness of several days from acute indigestion Abraham Hershey, of York street, died Saturday afternoon at the home of his brother-in-law, W. A Diehl, New Oxford, where he and Mrs. Hershey had been spending several days. He was aged 75 years.
Mr. Hershey was born in Cumberland township, a son of John and Eliza Mumma Hershey. He spent his entire life farming in this county, retiring three years ago, when he move to Gettysburg.

Funeral from his home Tuesday morning at 10:00, conducted by Rev. Jerome Funk and Rev. Harry Shank, Waynesboro. Interment at Mummasburg.
