Arthur J. Mumaw, Sr., 54, of 322 West Third street, who was a maintenance man at Hazle Hall until the building was razed, died Thursday at his home. He had been ill the past six months. A lifelong resident of this city, the deceased was a son of the late James and Anna (Sachs) Mumaw. He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Thelma Fox, and the following children: James, at home; Arthur, Jr., Kingston; Ruth Ann, at home; Robert, stationed at Langley Air Force Base, Va.; Samuel and Barbara, at home. A brother, Stewardt Mumaw, Philadelphia, also survive.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. from the Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home with continued services at 2 o'clock in Ss. Peter and Paul's Church. Rev. John M. Brndjar, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. Devotions will be held at 8 o'clock Friday night.
