In the matter on inquest upon the body of Francis J Mumaugh, before ?C Stone, coroner of Greene County, Missouri:
Be it remembered, that on the 8th day of September, A.D. 1944, information having been given to the Coroner of Greene County that the dead body of Francis J. Mumaugh, 1842 Central St, supposed to have come to his death by violence, had been found at the office of ??? having died suddenly & unexpectedly. Cause of death: Coronary ortusion).

His Missouri death certificate # 30937 indicated he died in the Citizen's Bank Bldg. of coronary occulusion, no physician in attendance. Pipe fitter by trade. Parents were Francis J Mumaugh and Augestine Unknown, also of Peru, Indiana. Was in WW I, per box on death cert., SS # ###-05-####. Male, white, married. Name of wife Thursy Mumaugh. Informant was Mrs. F J Mumaugh. H H Lohmeyer funeral home.
Ancestry has marriage license for him to a Miss Jewell Anderson in June 1931 and for Thursey McElroy in Oct. 1940.
Per cemetery records an Infant Mumaugh dates 9/11/1944 ashes have been placed in the same grave plot with Francis. Records indicated child passed away 2 days after he did.

Frank II's parents appear to be Francis J. Mumaugh and Ida Mae Augustine, married 10 Nov 1896 in Miami Co, Indiana.
Ida Mae, born in Indiana around 1853, was a sister to Trier Augustine, who married a relative of mine, Susan Bare, around 1868. Ida's parents were Mathaeus and Christina (Blum) Augustin, both born in Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany in 1821 and married 1845 in Hessloch, Hesse-Darmstadt. They appear in US census records for 1870 (Clay, Miami IN) and 1880 (Peru, Miami IN).
I do remember some Moomaw family buried in this cemetery. I cannot help but wonder if there was a name spelling change and they are somehow related.
