Leo moved to Santa Rosa between Nov 1908 and Apr 1910. His wife and brother-in-law left Millersburg on Oct 29, 1908 en route San Jose, CA. (Millersburg Sentinel, Oct 1908). Leo was on the 1910 Santa Rosa CA census living in a rented house at 752 Orchard St with his wife Myrl, daughters Amy and Florence and his brother-in-law Weldon. Leo also was registered as a voter in Santa Rosa, CA in Nov 1912. He does not appear on the 1914 Register of Voters and therefore, it is concluded that he and his family moved back east to PA in 1913. During his life in Santa Rosa, Leo worked as a shoemaker for the Santa Rosa Shoe Manufacturing Co (aka Levin Tanning Co). " on the 1910 census in Santa Rosa Township, Incorporated place of Santa Rosa City, Sonoma Co, CA at 752 Orchard St. with his wife, daughters, Amy and Florence and brother -in- law, Weldon Frank. He was 28, married for 8 years, and worked as a maker and mender of shoes on his own account. He rented his home. He could read and write.
