According to her mother's obituary, she lived in Santa Rosa, CA in 1909. (Millersburg Sentinel, May 21, 1909)
Listed as "Merle A." on the 1910 census in Santa Rosa Township, Incorporated place of Santa Rosa City, Sonoma Co, CA at 752 Orchard St. with her husband, daughters, Amy and Florence and brother, Weldon Frank. She was 26, married for 8 years, mother of two children both still living and she stayed home. She could read and write.
At the time of her death it is recorded that she was a widow living in Upper Paxton, Millersburg RD, Dauphin Co, PA. Her son Elwood was the informant on her death certificate.
She is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery Plot 152 Div 4 (Oak Hill Cemetery Records)
