Barbara's birth date comes from several sources. The census indicates approximately 1833. He r burial record at Woodlawn cemetery [Cem record #9493, lot 36S:412] gives the date as 1 Ju l 1831 and place as Greene Co, OH. Her parents names are also from the cemetery records. A t the time of death she resided at 1056 W Market Street in Lima.

Mrs. Mumaugh To Be Buried Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Mumaugh, 95, who died at 4 a.m. Thursday in the home of Mrs . Henry Enck, 1056 W. Market st, were to be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday from the residence, wi th the Rev. E. S. Weaver officiating. Interment was to be in Woodlawn cemetery. Death was att ributed to the infirmities of age. She was one of Lima's oldest residents. She had been ill f or about five years.
Mrs. Mumaugh had been a member of the Trinity M. E. church for 78 years. She was born in Gree n co but had lived in Lima practically all her life. She is survived by one daughter, Miss Em ma Mumaugh, Lima; three granddaughters, Miss Mildred Mumaugh, Mrs. John Schwantes and Mrs. Ra lph Baruthouse, all of Winfield, Kans.; and five great grandchldren.

Emma Mumaugh 12 Dec 1859 - 26 May 1938 S21 l4 d/o William. This seems to be the Emma in Barba ra's obituary. Emma also appears with Barbara in the 1900 census [3rd Ward, Lima, 151 Jackso n Street]. That census lists her birth date as December, 1859, and her age as 40. She was sin gle.
