Mr. Ronald Wayne Mumma, 68, of Hagerstown, MD; formerly Woodbridge, VA; died Saturday at his home. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by a sister, Dr. B. Jean Walker.
Mr. Mumma, born in Hagerstown, MD; was the son of Dorine L Haynes Mumma of Boonesboro, MD; and the late Lewis W. Mumma.
He was a 1966 graduate of North Hagerstown High School and attended Frostburg University. He served in the U. S. Army in Vietnam as an Air Traffic Controller. He worked for the Federal Government as an Air Traffic Controller for about 10 years and later retired from NOAA. He attended Evangel Baptist Church.
He also enjoyed skiing, roller coaster riding, traveling, playing golf, boating and fishing on the Chesapeake Bay.
He is survived by his mother, Dorine L Haynes Mumma, a son, Aaron Scott Wolfe of Falling Waters, WV; a brother, Donald B. Mumma and wife Chrys of San Antonio, TX; and a sister, Linda J. Barnhart and husband Sam of Clear Spring, MD.
