When comparing Willie's estimated birth year from the 1860 census and his calculated birth year from the tombstone information, there is a discrepancy of 2-3 years. In this case, with 2 other girls listed in the 1860 census and their births confirmed with the 1870 census, I believe that the date of death or his age was incorrectly inscribed or transcribed from the tombstone. I believe the death year was likely 1863, not 1865.
