The birth date of Jonas is estimated from the 1850 census records of Randolph County, GA. He he is living with his brother and his family. In the 1860 census he is living in town in Calhoun County. My guess is he is a boarder. From the records, it appears that he never married.
On February 4, 1869, there was a notice in which RH Moomaugh was involved and it was said that he was the administrator of Jonas Moomaugh, deceased.
