"Charlotte Mae Younker, 74, of 17301 Diane Drive in Hagerstown, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Charlotte was born on May 9, 1931, in Garfield, [Frederick Co.] Md., the daughter of the late Amos and Dorothy Alice Toms Kline. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Allen "Bus" Younker, in 1998, whom she married April 16, 1955. They were married for 43 years. She attended schools in Wolfsville and Middletown, Md. Before her marriage, she was employed by Hanover Shoe Co. in Middletown. She was a member of New Covenant Fellowship in Fairplay, Md., a former member of Miller's Tabernacle and a member of the AARP. Charlotte is survived by one daughter, Lisa K. Mumma and husband, Robert, of Hagerstown; one son, Steven Allen Younker and wife, Ronda, of Big Pool, Md.; one sister, Lula O. Kline of Smithsburg, Md.; one granddaughter, Jessica S. Dunn and husband, Charles, of Big Pool; two grandsons, Adam M. Mumma and Justin R. Mumma, both of Hagerstown; and two great-grandsons, Cain V. Dunn and Cash V. Dunn, both of Big Pool. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gilbert G. Kline and Lester A. Kline. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at 11 a.m. at New Covenant Fellowship, Fairplay, with Pastor Robert Martin and the Rev. C. Walter Hock officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at 2 p.m. in Parkhead Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md. The funeral home will be open after noon for the convenience of family and friends. Memorial donations may be made to New Covenant Fellowship, P.O. Box 34, Fairplay, MD 21733."
