Margaret Louise Wyand Mumma, 93, of 55 E. Washington St. in Hagerstown, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at Ravenwood Lutheran Village in Hagerstown.
Born Jan. 21, 1914, in Keedysville, she was the daughter of the late George M. and Sarah Goldie Leatherman Wyand.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood M. Mumma, in 1992.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Keedysville.
She is survived by one son, Ronald E. Mumma of Mercersburg, Pa.; two sisters, Catherine Keedy and Dorothy Roulette, both of Hagerstown; two grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Dagenhart and Lela Hill; and three brothers, Emory Wyand and twin brothers, Leo Wyand and Leon Wyand.
A memorial service will be Monday at 6 p.m. at Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro. The Rev. Malcolm R. Stranathan will officiate.
Private burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Keedysville.
The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
