Margaret Peachey Mumaw, 78, of Martinsburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at City Hospital.
Born May 16, 1928, in Thornlie Bank, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Jeanie T. Longwill Peachey.
She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
She was previously employed with Corning Glass and most recently with the Music and Gift Shop.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth Lee Mumaw; one sister, Jean Holmes, of Thornlie Bank, Scotland; a number of nieces and nephews; and three dear friends, Donnie Waterhouse, Trudy Moss and Jane West.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert, Ted, Harry, John and Bill Peachey; and two sisters, Mary Campbell and Betty Docherty.
The family will receive friends at the Brown Funeral Home today, Nov. 30, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be private with interment to be held in Scotland.
