David Lee Leitzell, of Harrisburg, entered into eternal life on Saturday August 22, 2015.
Dave was born on Mother's Day, May 11, 1952, in Harrisburg, to the late Damascus Leitzell and Mary (Mumma) Leitzell. Dave's survivors include his loving wife of 35 years, Deborah Leitzell; their four children, David Leitzell Jr (Christine), Amanda Leitzell, Samantha Leitzell and Sean Leitzell (Jennifer), along with a grandson, David Lee Leitzell III. Dave grew up on Roberts Valley Road, Harrisburg, with his five brothers and two sisters, Roger, Larry (deceased), Mike (deceased), Dennis (deceased), Ken, Shirley Neidig and Nancy Herrman. He was a Distribution Manager for Feesers, Inc., Harrisburg. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed the company of his friends and family very much.
A Funeral Service to Honor the Life of David Leitzell will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday August 28, 2015 at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, with his good friend, Pastor Jim Cook, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon, on Friday. Interment will follow at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to AstraZeneca - (a residence that offers no cost lodging for cancer patients being treated in the Philadelphia area). When making contributions, please indicate "In Memory of David Leitzell", in the memo section, and mail to AstraZeneca - , 110 W. Laurel Ave., Cheltenham, PA 19012.
