SUSIE JANE HAMILTON
Susie Jane Hamilton, 88, of R.R. 2, Pleasanton, passed away August 6, 1978, at Pleasant View Manor Nursing Home, Pleasanton. She was born near Pleasanton on October 8, 1889, the daughter of Abraham David and Addie (Rowe) Hays. She was married to Hugh Miller Hamilton near Pleasanton on January 26, 1910. He preceded her in death March 10, 1969. Mrs. Hamilton was a lifetime resident of the Pleasanton area and was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Amoret, Mo.
Survivors are one son, William David Hamilton, R.R. 2, Pleasanton, and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church in Amoret, with Dr. James S. Sangster, officiating. Music was provided by Bill Carter, soloist; Lois Payne, pianist. Casket bearers were Bill McChesney, J. R. Mitchell, LeRoy McCoy, John Steele, Kenneth Ross, and Richard McCoy & Arrangements were by Tornedens, Pleasanton.?
