Mrs. Nellie Feil of Fall Creek, died this morning, Aug. 22, 1959, in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Leavitt of Fall Creek, she was 78.
Funeral services will Tuesday and burial will be in Rankin cemetery.
Nellie was born Jan. 29, 1881. She was the daughter of John and Caroline Freed Mewmaw. She married August Fiel, Nov. 22, 1898. She had lived the last 61 years in Fall Creek Twp., and was a member of the Payson Christian church.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edna Wysong of St. Charles Mo., Miss Josephine Feil of Quincy and Mrs. Leavitt of Fall Creek and two sons, David Feil of Quincy and Everett Feil of Hannibal. One sister, Mrs. Ada Griggs of Plainville and one brother Dr. A.E. Mewmaw of Colorado Springs, Col.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
