MUMMA Merle E. Mumma, known as "Pickle PawPaw" to his great-grandchildren, 87 years old of Loranger Louisiana, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011. Merle was born on Sunday, May 18, 1924, in Nuckolls, Co., NE. Surviving are daughter & son-in-law, Merlene and Buster Eubanks, of Springville TN., son & daughter-in-law, Gene and Rose Mumma, of Loranger, LA., daughter & her boyfriend, Jo Civello and Mark Driscoll, of Metairie, LA., grandchildren, Paula Lovell and Suzanne Zamparelli, of TN., grandson and partner, Paul Mumma and Lori Casse, grandson and his spouse, Michael and Heidi Mumma, all of Baton Rouge, LA., granddaughter and husband, Jessica and Gary Dayhoff, of TN.,and grandson, Jared Civello, of Metairie, LA. great-grandchildren, William Henry Goodson JR.,USAF, of Destin FL., Kahla Marie Zamparelli, Nash Dalton Hearn and Rachel D'Anna Hearn, all of TN., sister-in-laws, Katherine and Jan Mumma, brother-in-law, Harry Eiseman. He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Lila J. Core Mumma, parents, Ralph and Esther Althouse Mumma, siblings, Evelyn Mumma Snyder, Ray and Charles Mumma, There will be a memorial service at a later date.
