Deed AWB 401 folio 397, dated 1848, identifies John Mumma and his wife, A. Marie Mumma, son John S. S. Mumma, daughter Margaret I. S. Mumma and daughter, Casandra S. Mumma Johnson who has married Asbury Johnson. The family is selling land which the family inherited from Marie's father, Thomas Lucas.
Baltimore County Advocate and Advertiser that says: "John T. was the only son of John Mumma. Sarah Catharine Lennous was the daughter of George Lennous, Esquire of Harford County".
John is living with his father and mother in the 1850 census.
