Deed AWB 401 folio 397, dated 1848, identifies John Mumma and his wife, A. Marie Mumma, son John S. S. Mumma, daughter Margaret I. S. Mumma and daughter, Casandra S. Mumma Johnson who has married Asbury Johnson. The family is selling land which the family inherited from Marie's father, Thomas Lucas.

Miss Margaret J. Mumma, a native of Gardenville, died yesterday at her home, 1814 East Chase street. Death resulted from the infirmities of age, Miss Mumma was 83 years old. She had been sick about a year. Two nieces, Mrs. Anna M. Corson and Mrs. Letty Mumma, and five nephews, survive. The nephews are C. L. Mumma, Asbury J. Johnson, Albert S. Johnson, Howard Mumma and George Mumma.
The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from her home. The Rev. J. K. Snyder, of the Independent Methodist Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Baltimore Cemetery.
