T. H. Mumma, Dunnigan Rancher Dies
Thomas H. Mumma, 47, native of Dunnigan and prominent Arbuckle rancher, died at the Arbuckle sanitarium Tuesday evening. Death resulted from complications, which followed an operation.
Born in the Dunnigan district, the son of Mrs. Alice Mumma of Woodland and the late Thomas J. Mumma of Dunnigan, he had been a lifelong resident of that section. For the last 26 years he had farmed near Arbuckle.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Holy Rosary Catholic church. Kraft Brothers are in charge.
Mr. Mumma is survived by his mother, Mrs. Alice Mumma of Woodland; his widow, Mrs. Victoria Mumma; three children, Thomas, Jr., Evelyn and Donald Mumma; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian George of Woodland and Mrs. Marion Hardy of College City. Frank Mumma of Woodland is a cousin.

Thomas was issued Letters of Patent No. 915,463 on March 16, 1909 for an adjustable wrench when he was only 21 years old.
