(Research):Celia's daughter, Sarah Ellen, has a memory that Celia died when Sarah Ellen was very young--in approximately 1920. (Sarah Ellen spent her childhood in foster homes and therefore has no clear memory of either of her parents). So far I have been unable to locate Celia's death certificate. Ellen's birth certificate records that Ellen was the third child born to Celia and the second surviving child, so Celia must have had a second child between Sanford Leroy and Sarah Ellen that did not survive.
