Sanford's brother Arthur's obit from Jan 1946 lists him as a survivor, living in Circleville. William is again listed as a survivor in brother Albert's obit in 1947. He is not listed as a surviving brother in Jerome's obit from 1955. So his death date should be approx 1947-1955. He has also been known as William. 1920 census - Age 33, living at 148 Water Street with wife Celia and children Sanford (3) and Sarah E. (1), working as a blacksmith 1930 census - Plumber Age 45, widower, living with his mother Mary Morris, and his children Sanford (14) and Ellen (11) at 122 East Water Street in a rented house. Working as a plumber. For some reason he is going by the name of William.
