Benny S. Mumma, age 79, of Ebensburg, PA, formerly of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the Cambria Care Center in Ebinsburg, PA. He was born on Thursday, June 5, 1941 in Laidig, PA the son of the late Sharp and the late Virgie (Rouzer) Mumma. Benny was heavy equipment mechanic and truck driver.
Benny is survived by one son, Sheldon (husband of Kristen) Mumma of McConnellsburg, PA, 8 grandchildren (Aaron, Alex, Dalton, Braydon, Gavin, Ethan, Micah and Elias). Benny is also survived by three siblings, Audrey (wife of Ralph) Shotts of McConnellsburg, PA, John (husband of Mary) Mumma of McConnellsburg, PA and Dorothy (wife of Clair) Miller of McConnellsburg, PA.
Benny is preceded in death by his parents, one brother H. Robert "Bob" Mumma and one sister, Joan Mumma.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery in Hustontown, PA. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Needmore Bible Church, 6939 Great Cove Rd., Needmore, PA 17238 with a time of visitation at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
