George R. Mumaw, 82, of Hopwood, a native of Bullskin Township, died Tuesday in Laurel Rest Home.
He was born Jan. 13, 1883, a son of the late George W. and Margaret Stillwagon Mumaw, and was a retired employe of Metzler's Store.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Freeman Mumaw; three daughters, Margaret Hoenstein of Washington, Pa., Betty Ruth James of Greensburg and Frances Rea at home; a son, Lloyd of Grafton, W. Va.; two sisters, Mrs. H. S. (Sadie) Reed of Connellsville, R.D., and Ada Crow of Charleroi, and a brother, Ben Mumaw of Yakima, Wash.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Ferguson funeral home, Uniontown, with the Rev. Seth P. Bower officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Uniontown.
