LAST WILL and TESTAMENT of Hannah Kretzer, deceased (pp. 529-530)

I, Hannah Kretzer of Washington County, State of Maryland, being weak of body but of sound and disposing Mind, Memory and Understanding, considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to settle my Worldly Affairs and thereby to the better prepared to leave this World, when it shall please God, to call me hence, do therefore make and publish this my Last Will and Testament, in manner and form following that is to say.
First and ?????? I commit my Soul unto the hands of Almighty God, and my body to the earth to be decently buried by my Executor hereinafter named and after all my debts and funeral expenses are paid, I devise and bequeath as follows:
First, I do by this my last Will and Testament give my executor hereinafter named the full and absolute power to sell at his discretion all the Real Estate which I may die seized and possessed, (Except the House and Lot which I shall hereinafter Name) and to convey the same to the purchaser or purchasers thereof as fully and completely as I could do were I living.
Second. To the German Reformed Church in Sharpsburg I give One Hundred Dollars to be applied to the repairing of said Church, by the direction of my Executor hereinafter Named, during the period of five year
The House and Lot I now reside in, in the town of Sharpsburg, being the same that I purchased from David Funk, lying and being on the Main Street of said town, I Will and bequeath to Mary Rohrer, Wife of Henry Rohrer (and Daughter of Elizabeth Mumma) during her Natural Life, after her death the same to go to her Children, that may be living.
And further I give all my household property to Mary Rohrer, Wife of Henry Rohrer. To Barbara Mumma, daughter of Elizabeth Mumma, the balance of my Estate I give unto her, which balance will show upon my Executor settling his final account with the Orphans Court.
Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend, Jacob H. Grove Executor of this, My Last Will and Testament, revoking and cancelling all former Wills by me heretofore made, ratifying this and none other, to be my Last Will and Testament.
