Little is known about Juliana Heckmann other than her name which was recorded in the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster upon her marriage. The records show they were married on 22 April 1780. She must have been "of age" (her parent's permission was not required) and been over 18 years of age, so she was born before 1862. Her name appears on the deed to release her dower rights when Henry sold the Hempfield property he acquired from his father. After Henry's death in 1809, Juliana is listed in the 1810 census for Sharpsburg, Maryland.
