We believe Maria is listed as living with her mother in the 1810 Maryland Census, Washington County, Sharpsburg 100 enumeration district. She listed as being in the 16-25 year old bracket which is correct.
1810 Maryland Census, Washington County, Sharpsburg 100 enumeration dist. pages 504 & 506
There were only 56 households enumerated in this district. Jacob Muma [210] heads this enumeration list. Then 43 entries later, his nephew, John Muma [2181] appears followed 4 entries later by his brother, Henry Muma [2184], next to his mother, Juliana Muma [wife of 218] and next to her is her daughter and husband, Peter & Barbara Muma [2186] Warble. Also, John Fox, John Mumma's father-in-law is living two households from him.

In the 1820 census, a Mary Mumma appears in Frederick county, age 26-45 living with another female over 45 years of age. I believe this to be Juliana, Mary's mother. After 1820, Mary or Juliana are no longer found. It is likely Juliana has died and Mary has migrated to Dayton, Ohio with her brothers.
Maria is listed in a Mumma family history that was written in 1892 by Aaron Mumma in which he states, "Maria married a Peffly". Since she died young and without children, little else is known about her.
The following information is from Gale Honeyman" ghoneyman@woh.rr.com
------------------------------
An affidavit was signed 26 Jan 1832 in Montgomery County OH for the marriage of Jacob Peffley and Maria Mumma with her brother Jacob Mumma attesting. Marriage Affadavits of Montgomery Co., OH March 29, 1824 - September 19, 1857 by Rose Shilt.
There was no return of the marriage made to the court by either the performing minister or Justice of the Peace. Found in the Ft. McKinley Cemetery located on the west side of Dayton are the following markers: Maria wife of Jacob Peffley died July 12, 1833, age 40 years; Jacob Peffley died August 28, 1851, age 79 years. Jacob was born c1772 in Bethel Township, Lancaster [now Lebanon] County PA and died in Madison Township, Montgomery Co OH. Maria was the second of three wives, the first being my 4th great grandmother Catharine Longenecker and the third Mary [not established, possibly Hock]. To my knowledge, Maria did not have a child. The heirs of Jacob filed a Petition for Partition for the 165 acre farm owned by their father in Madison Township in the April 1853 term of Common Pleas Court, using the spelling of Peffly which is the spelling used by my branch of the family. Book N, p 328. Jacob and likely his wives, held membership in the Lower Stillwater German Baptist Brethren church district.

There is an error in the 1938 Peffly Genealogy book regarding Jacob Peffly's 2nd marriage to a Mary Hoch. From the evidence shown above, Jacob's 2nd marriage was to Maria Mumma. After Maria's death, Jacob married again (3rd marriage) and Jacob had additional children with Mary Hoch.
