Peter essentially lived his entire adult life in Warwick Township of Lancaster County. Several of his children also remained in the Township and are the only MUMMA family. The name is spelled as Mumma, Muma, Mumau, and Mummah
From the 1820 census, 3 female children are listed suggesting the eldest daughter was born between 1804 and 1810. Three additional girls are listed being born between 1810 and 1820. The names of the girls have not been identified. In the later census, the males can be identified and accounted for, however the girls disappear, suggesting several died in infancy. Possibly the older ones lived and were married by the 1830 census.
