Miss Marjory Mumma
LEAF RIVER -- Miss Marjory Eva Mumma of Leaf River died Wednesday in St. Anthony Hospital, Rockford, where she had been a patient for four days.
Miss Mumma had been employed as administrator of Godair Retirement Home in Hinsdale for the past 13 years, and formerly served as administrator of Washington-Jane Smith Home in Beverly.
Born Jan. 19, 1907, in Forreston, she was the daughter of Samuel W. and Nellie A. (Cheeseman) Mumma.
Surviving are a brother, Dr. Claude Mumma of Santa Monica, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Swift of Forreston. Her parents, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Forreston. The Rev. Paul Anhalt, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday afternoon and evening at Dougherty Funeral Home, Forreston.
A memorial fund has been established.
