Arthur D. Mumaw, 85, Newark, N.J., died yesterday morning at the Union Printers Home, Colorado Springs, Colo. He was born in this city, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John P. Mumaw, and worked on the old Hazleton Sentinel before moving to Newark, N.J., where he was employed as a printer on a newspaper until his retirement. he was a member and elder of the Second Presbyterian Church of Newark.
He was preceded in death by his wife and three sons. Surviving are four sisters: Mrs. G. H. (Anne Van Nauker, Miss Edith H. Mumaw, Mrs. George A. (Lucy) Patterson, all of this city; and Mrs. Walter R. (Polly) Penman, Lebanon; and one brother, F. Barton Mumaw, Eustis, Fla. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Interment will be in Colorado Springs.A
