Mrs. Anne M. Van Nauker, 601 W. Diamond Ave., retired clerk of the delinquent tax office at the Green Street School, died at 10 p.m. Monday at the State General Hospital where she had been admitted earlier in the day. Born in Hazleton, she was a daughter of the late John P. and Emma (Nussbaum) Mumaw. The deceased was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Sophia C. Jack Bible Class and the Women's Association of the church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G. Harrison Van Nauker, in 1953, and a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Johnston, died in 1958. Surviving are two grandsons, Paul and Mark Johnston, New Kensington; a brother, F. Barton Mumaw, Eustis, Fla.; and three sisters, Edith H. Mumaw, R.N., and Mrs. Lucy Patterson, at home; and Mrs. Walter (Polly) Penman, Lebanon.
The funeral will be held from the Bachman and Rosenstock Funeral Home at a time to be announced.
