Mrs. Lucy M. Patterson, 601 W. Diamond Ave., former secretary-treasurer of the First Presbyterian Church, this city, died at noon yesterday in the State General Hospital. She was born in this city, daughter of the late John and Emma (Nussbaum) Mumaw, and lived all of her life in Hazleton.
Her husband, George A. Patterson, died in 1944. Surviving are a son, George A. Jr., RD 1, Pottstown and a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Alice) Maurer, Cherry Hill, N.J. Four grandchildren, a brother, Barton Mumaw, Eustis, Fla., and two sisters, Edith Mumaw, at home, and Mrs. Walter (Polly) Penman, Lebanon, also survive.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Bachman and Rosenstock Funeral Home. The Rev. Donald W. Ealy, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Vine street Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
